VerShare Community Camp

Subject: VerShare Community Camp August 3-7, 2026: Town Ctr.

Hello Vershire! VerShare Community Camp will be in residence at the Vershire Town Center this coming week, August 3rd to 7th, 2026! Donations for the lunchtime salad bar are needed and greatly appreciated. The best time to drop off food donations is during staff training on the afternoon of Sunday August 2nd from 1-6. Food donations can also be dropped off this week during camp M-Th 8:30-3:30. Think picnic side-salad ingredients, as well as all sorts of fresh veggies and fruits. Garlic, onions, and fresh herbs for seasoning dishes please! Garden gone wild? We gladly accept donations of any and all vegetables! Grabbing fresh fruits, veggies, etc from a local farm or store? Squashes, potatoes, corn, and tomatoes! Kale!!! Kale chips go fast! So do pickles. Going berry picking and willing to pick extra? Vinegars, butter, mayo, salad dressings (shaker tops are great!) Canned tuna or chicken for pasta salads. Cheese & Hard Boiled Eggs devoured daily! This Camp is FREE to all children! Camp employs local teens and gives them leadership training as Counselors and Counselors-in-Training. We even have returning college kids as Activity Leaders! It is truly a community effort and we are grateful to all who are involved and/or support camp. Thank you!
