Join friends, neighbors, and Rural Vermont farmers for a morning of eating, playing, learning, and building community at Longest Acres Farm in Chelsea on Sunday, August 30th from 10am - noon. Bring a pie to share and be ready to... *Win exquisite pies in a thrilling game of Bingo called by local farmer/ foodie/ jack-of-all-trades Ben Hewitt *Let pie teach you what’s going on in Vermont agriculture *Chuck a mud pie at an effigy of your choosing (RSVP to cast your vote) *Socialize, eat, have a lovely morning in a beautiful place! Admission is free and Bingo cards are $5 each (kids play for free!). We'll also have Rural Vermont artwork, merchandise, summer raffle tickets, and hand-printed tees (and onesies!) for sale. All proceeds benefit Rural Vermont's work to build social, ecological, and economic health for our state's agrarian communities. RSVPs are appreciated but not required.
