Sunday, August 16, 2026 Reflection by Laura Leavitt “Opening Doors for Students” Laura Leavitt is a high school science teacher at White River Valley in Royalton, Vermont. She teaches chemistry and environmental science, and has previously taught biology and botany. She tries to build out-of-classroom experiences for her students to introduce them to new places and to see things with a fresh perspective. She lives in Royalton with her husband Asa, and two sons, Rye and Theo. The North Chapel Sunday services start at 10 am.
