Donations for VerShare Camp

Subject: Donations for Vershare camp!

Thank you for offering to donate some food to camp this year. We will be serving approximately 100 campers and 20+ teen staff. Donations for the lunchtime salad bar are greatly appreciated. Donations can be dropped off during staff training Sunday August 2nd from 12:30 to 6:30 pm, as well as during the camp week M-Th 8:30-3:30. Each day we will probably have a list at pick up of items identified as needed the next day. Think picnic side-salad ingredients, as well as all sorts of fresh veggies and fruits. Garlic, onions, and fresh herbs for seasoning dishes please! Garden gone wild? We gladly accept donations of any and all vegetables! Grabbing fresh fruits, veggies, etc from a local farm or store? Squashes, potatoes, corn, and tomatoes! Kale!!! Kale chips go fast! So do pickles. Going berry picking and willing to pick extra? Does your pantry need cleaning out... pasta and beans for salads are welcome! Vinegars, butter, mayo, salad dressings (shaker tops are great!) Canned tuna or chicken for pasta salads. Cheese & Hard Boiled Eggs devoured daily! It is truly a community effort and we are grateful to all who are involved and/or support camp. Thank you! Devan and Tovhan
