As requested, the West Newbury Schoolhouse will again be open for visitors from 1 - 3 p.m. on Monday, August 10 and Wednesday, August 12. If you missed this opportunity during the W. Newbury Festival, here is another chance to browse this year's display: "250 Years of Education in Newbury". Hosted by the Newbury Historical Society, the display celebrates the town's many neighborhood 1- room schoolhouses and their graduates along with the evolution of more centralized schools.
