Subject: [Enfield] NEW LONDON BRASS QUINTET RECITAL AT ENFIELD SHAKER MUSEUM, AUG 16, 4-5PM
Join us Sunday, Aug 16, at Enfield Shaker Museum for the third performance of our Mary Keane Chapel Concert Series. The New London Bass Quintet will perform traditional brass music with jazz influences plus works that include organ. The ensemble features Dan Wright (trumpet), Doug Dean (trumpet), Ako Shiffer (French horn), Victoria Moore (trombone), and Dan Brown (tuba). Organist is Henry Danaher. The recital runs from 4:00 to 5:00 pm followed by a reception in the Museum Shaker Herb Garden (weather permitting) or in the Great Stone Dwelling. This is a free concert with a suggested donation of $15.00 to support the ongoing restoration of the Chapel's Casavant Organ.
