Subject: Clerk's office closing early Monday and other election reminders!
Good morning, Norwich! Lots of election reminders: You are welcome to pick up absentee ballots or vote in the office until Monday, 8/10 at noon, at which point the Clerk’s Office closes to prepare for the election. The office is also closed Wednesday to wrap up election reporting. You can still return your outstanding absentee ballots to the dropbox outside Tracy Hall up until 7pm on Tuesday, August 11th. In-person voting happens Tuesday, August 11th from 7am to 7pm in Tracy Hall. Ballots received after 7pm on 8/11 cannot be counted. Results will be posted on the town website at www.norwich.vt.us, sent to the listserv, and posted on the bulletin board outside Tracy Hall after we wrap up on Tuesday night. As of 1pm on Wednesday we’ve issued 383 absentee ballots and received 206 ballots back. Keep ‘em coming! Almost there! Lily Trajman (she/her) (why?)
