We're thrilled to present several events at the Norwich Bookstore this weekend! As always, these events are free and open to the public, and we hope you'll join us! Saturday, August 8 at 9am - 6pm The Norwich Bookstore Anniversary Sale! In-Store Event! We are now 32! The Norwich Bookstore opened in August of 1994 - celebrate our birthday with 20% off nearly everything in-store, only on Saturday August 8th! In-store only and in-stock items only; some restrictions apply. Sale is one day only, and in-store only. Items cannot be held in advance of sale. Cannot be combined with other discounts. Sunday, August 9 at 1pm UV Welcome Wagon Coffee & Conversation! Followed by a Silent Reading Party! In-Store Event! Join the UV Welcome Wagon for a Newcomer Coffee Meetup at the Norwich Bookstore, followed by a Silent Reading Party! Connect with your neighbors over a cup of coffee & a sweet treat (on us.) Open to new and old Upper Valley residents. After the coffee, stay for a Silent Reading Party! Take an hour to read with the Norwich Bookstore community. We'll be outside the bookstore, unless it rains, in which case we'll move inside. Bring a picnic blanket, get cozy and read for an hour. Soft drinks will be offered and if you don't have a book to read our booksellers will be more than happy to make recommendations. August 9th is also Book Lovers day and the Norwich Bookstore will be handing out free stickers to all book lovers!
