This is the final week for kids to earn stickers for Norman Williams Public Library's Summer Reading Program, "Unearth a Story." You have a bit longer to turn in your reading logs for prizes. Saturday's 10:30 am Story Time will be followed by a collage activity with materials found in nature. The Spud Club will continue to attend to the Potato Plot; join us Wednesdays at 4. +++ Monday, August 3, Open 10-6 4:00 - Poetry Group: feedback & support Tuesday, August 4, Open 10-8 (***note evening hours***) 10:00 - Needlepoint: informal time to stitch and visit Wednesday, August 5, Open 10-6 1:00 - Literary Pairs Book Discussion Group: theme “Ground Control to Major Tom / Take your protein pills and put your helmet on…” (song lyric by David Bowie); discussing Packing for Mars: The Curious Science of Life in the Void by Mary Roach and Orbital by Samantha Harvey.
