Subject: [Bridgewater Discussion] "Zadock Thompson and the Story of Vermont" program by Kevin Graffagnino
On Sunday, August 16th at 2:00 pm, Kevin Graffagnino, Vermont historian and author will present a program “Zadock Thompson and the Story of Vermont”. Historian, naturalist, professor and minister, Zadock Thompson (1796-1856) played a significant role in how 19th century Vermonters viewed their state’s heritage and appreciated its natural resources. Zadock Thompson was born in Bridgewater. This program is co-hosted by the Bridgewater Historical Society and the Woodstock History Center, and it is sponsored by the Vermont Humanities Council. The program are will be held at the Bridgewater Grange Hall, 129 RT 100A, Bridgewater Corners, is free, open to the public and accessible to those with disabilities.
