Instructor: Molly Armbrust When: 8/12, 8/13, 8/19, 8/20 Time: 10-11:30 am Where: Parish hall of St. Barnabas church in Norwich Fee: $70 for the series (cash, check or venmo) This contemporary/modern dance class is aimed at tweens ages 10-13. No experience necessary, all are welcome! We will move through floor work, standing center work and movement across the floor with a focus on developing movement coordination, embodiment, expressivity, groundedness, athleticism, and expansive movement through space. We will emphasize both technical development and freedom/exploration, supporting development of nuance, collaboration and somatic awareness. Dress comfortably and bring a water bottle and a pair of socks (though most of class will be done with bare feet).
