Sharon Old Home Day is this Saturday, August 8!

For 133 years, Sharon Old Home Day has brought our community together for what truly feels like our town reunion—and we are proud to continue that tradition this year.
This year’s festivities will take place on the Sharon Town Common, in the grassy area in front of the church and historical museum.

Come enjoy:

🍖 BBQ from the SnackBar at the Gorge food truck

🥧 Chicken pot pie for Sharon seniors in the church community space

The Sharon Historical Society will also celebrate the grand reopening of its building. Stop in to see the beautiful renovations and displays highlighting Sharon’s history.

The parade begins at 10:00 a.m., with festivities continuing until 3:00 p.m.

Following the recent passing of retired Fire Chief and former Sharon Old Home Day Association President David Potter, the Sharon Fire Department will not host its traditional BBQ this year so members can attend his Celebration of Life. A moment of silence honoring Dave’s many years of service will be held at 12:15 p.m., just before the Gold Head Cane Ceremony.
