Sunday, August 9, 2026 Reflection by Rev. Leon Dunkley “Gardens of Strength, Grace and Heritage” Summer changes the outer landscape of our lives. Grace changes the landscape of the soul. Strength, grace and heritage allow both of these gardens to grow. Earth is teaching us now. Sun and sky are asking us to flower…and we are ready (because we are beautiful) to face the challenges of our day - the volcano in Guatemala and the burning mountain of the soul; the fires in Spokane, Washington and the ceremonial fires of spirit; the light of truth that pushes back against darkest and deep sorrow. Through it all, we still choose to flower…beautifully. The North Chapel Sunday services start at 10 am.
