Volunteer Blueberry Harvest at Wild Hill Organics

Dear Orford Neighbors,

We need your help picking blueberries! On Friday, July 31, at 9:00am, Willing Hands volunteers will harvest blueberries at Wild Hill Organics in West Fairlee, to share with our community members who might not otherwise get to enjoy this tasty local treat.

Blueberry picking is a blast, and volunteers say that one of their favorite things about harvesting food with Willing Hands is spending time outdoors together at our beautiful farm partners. Volunteer sessions are short (and sweet!) lasting 1.5 hours with no heavy lifting or bending over required for harvesting these fruits off the bushes.

All of the fruit you harvest will be delivered to local organizations throughout the Upper Valley, including the Upper Valley Haven, LISTEN Community Services, the West Fairlee Food Shelf, and the Fairlee Orford Food Shelf. Neighbor to neighbor!
