The Squam Lakes Natural Science Center is bringing Animals with Bad Reputations to the Picnic in the Park series this Wednesday, August 5th at 5 p.m. Live animals, up close, with the naturalists who know them best. We're not saying which animals
are coming. Can you guess? Show up and find out.

These are wild neighbors you've almost certainly met without meaning to, and the truth about them is more complicated than what you've heard. Fear built on myth changes how a species gets treated.

Free and open to all ages. Bring your picnic basket and a blanket or chair. In case of
rain or extreme heat, the program moves indoors to the RWB Community Center.
