Subject: [Local Resource Network] Sunday, August 2nd service at WUUC with Julie Bond
The Washington Unitarian Universalist Congregation, a lay-led summer congregation, holds services on Sundays at 10:00 in our beautiful historic building located at 2938 VT Route 110 in the village of Washington, Vermont. All are welcome! Please join us this Sunday, August 2nd for “Poetry: The Sacred Human Conduit” with Julie Bond. Julie Bond is the Executive Director of Good Samaritan Haven, a shelter network for the unhoused serving central Vermont. She received a Master’s of Divinity at Starr King School for the Ministry on Berkeley, California. She completed a ministerial internship at All Souls Unitarian Church in Manhattan and a chaplaincy training at The University of Vermont Medical Center. If you like to sing, our small choir rehearses some simple pieces at 9:30 am prior to the service. After the service please stay for conversation, coffee, tea, cookies and potluck snacks. On August 9th: “Memento Mori” with Rev. Karen G. Johnston. Rev. Karen G.
