Orford Cares Food Pantry: Produce and More

Subject: Produce and More - Tuesday, August 4 from Noon until 3:30 p.m. at the UC Church, Route 10, Orford

PLEASE NOTE - Tuesday Market has moved, temporarily, to the front of the church starting Tuesday, July 20.

The church fellowship room will be available again on Tuesday, August 11. There will be no interruption in deliveries from Willing Hands. The time will be the same.

NOTE - there will be no access to the bathrooms during this time.

Anyone struggling to stretch their budgets to cover food costs are encouraged to come to the Orford Cares food pantry on Tuesdays between 12:00-3:30 p.m. Orford Cares has vegetables, non-perishable foods, and staples such as milk, eggs, and bread on hand. Please spread the word about this local support. Offerings change each week.

This event is free and open to all.

For donations you can drop off - Tuesday mornings from 11:00 a.m. to noon at the church or during open hours at the Orford Free Library (Tuesday & Friday 3:30-7:30 p.m., Saturday 9:00-11:30 a.m., Sunday 2:00-5:00 p.m.) or on the porch at the Orford Social Library. Orford Cares recommends items such as baked beans, canned spaghetti and meatballs, hearty soups, cereal, dried pasta, pasta sauce, sandwich bread or rolls, peanut butter, jelly, cooking oil, sugar, flour, butter, dish soap, paper towels, toothpaste, and toilet paper.
