Beatles Night at the Root Schoolhouse

Worn out from the fair? Come enjoy an easy listening, music filled evening of your favorite songs from the Fab 4 or their offshoots.

Much of Beatles music is rooted in the American Blues tradition, borrowing from such greats as Chuck Berry, Little Richerd and Elvis. We’ll cover an array of songs from early to late and try to do them justice. You’ll be singing along with every tune and ending with a crescendo of Na na Na na’s.

If you haven’t been to an event yet at the schoolhouse, please come check it out. People are amazed at the beauty of this restored gem in Norwich. A perfect setting for this all acoustic performance.

The program will start at 4pm and last 60 to 90 minutes.

Light refreshments and drinks will be available. Bring something to share if you're in the mood. Stay for a few minutes afterward to chat with your neighbors.

Who are the Porch Brothers?
Your Norwich neighbors Bob Miller (guitar, harmonica), Dave Barthel (bass uke, guitar) Jordan Mueller (guitar) and Dave Bibeau (guitar). Also featuring Dan Longnecker (mandolin) from Bradford, Bill Suite (drums) from Ryegate and Deb Crosby (guitar) from Wilder.

The Root Schoolhouse is located 987 Union Village Road. Three accessible parking spaces are available, and some limited lawn parking. Further parking can be found on Goodrich Four Corners near Hogwash Farm. There is NO parking on the Union Village Road.
