Subject: [chelsea] WHITE_BATTEN_TILLOTSON_MCKEEMAN: Sunday, AUG 9 @ 3:00, MMH
Learn more about your community from those who have lived here all their lives. All five presenters are historians and storytellers by natural bent. Come listen as Charlie and Rod White tell us about dairy farming in Corinth; Mike Batten will talk about the history of the woods that surround us and Steve Tillotson will remind us of just how important the Bowen Hunter Bobbin Mill was to 100s of families in the area. Joyce McKeeman will give us an overview of early 19th c. Corinth, around the time when the Meadow Meeting House was built and the population in Town was about double what it is currently. She will introduce all of the other speakers. SEE THE FLYER HERE and please help to spread the word through your SM accounts "I have great respect for the past. If you don't know where you've come from, you don't know where you're going..."
