All are Welcome to Academy Museum & Outdoor Cafe' Open This Saturday In Cookeville August 8th from 10 to Noon to HELP CELEBRATE AMERICA 250 HISTORY DAY!!!

THE OUTDOOR CAFE' will be hosted by the America 250th Celebration Committee under the tent with Coffee by the CHS.

EXHIBITS:
In the museum, find a new exhibit of needle art.

Come explore our town’s history and engage in demonstrations of Butter churning, Basket weaving, Blacksmithing, Traditional timber framing methods, Reading the landscape to determine historical land use, Corinth’s history through metal detecting, Embroidery techniques, The Taplin family and their role in the settling of Corinth etc.And we can talk about our ancestors and how they lived, bring your stories and talents to share!

PARKING: There will be no parking at the Academy so please leave any spaces in front of the academy for our older citizens.
Parking is available at the Corinth Town Hall.
