Subject: [Thetford] Flag batons/Labor Day Parade
The Thetford Recreation Department has added a new option for youngsters who might be interested in learning a flag baton routine for the Labor Day Parade, or, just for fun (anticipating that some families are away for Labor Day Weekend). The flag baton clinic will be offered August 10-14, from 2:15-2:45, at the Thetford Elementary School Cafeteria. The Thetford Recreation Registration cost of $10. includes tee-shirt which participants can keep. There is no need to buy a flag baton; Sunny Martinson (instructor) has enough on hand for participants to use. August 10 (first Monday of the clinic) will also be a TRY IT OUT DAY! Come learn some flag baton twirls, and then if participant is interested in continuing for the remaining 4 days, (s)he can register at the end of Monday's session.
